Operated by the Library and Information Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, REAL is an electronic library service containing full-text documents. REAL runs EPrints software and supports the OAI-PMH protocol (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting).
The collection contains research output (journal articles and conference publications) of projects supported by grants from OTKA and/or from NKFIH, mandated for open access by the same organizations and uploaded by the authors themselves, as well as research reports deposited centrally by OTKA/NKFIH.
The collection contains dissertations submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degrees of CSc and DSc of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
The collection contains out-of-copyright books, scanned and digitized in the framework of the eBooks on Demand (EOD) service, or in the framework of the Library's digitization programme.
The collection contains full-text manuscripts from the holdings of the Department of Manuscripts & Rare Books and from those of the Oriental Collection.
